Adveturers Club: The way it was...
flickr use Simon Krane posted a few old photos of the Adventurers Club dating from the period 1988-1994. If you were there in more recent years, you could see from these pictures that the club has changed a bit since it opened.
Here you can see the Zebra of the Zebra Mezzanine, but not in the position it was in at the time of the club's closing. From what I can infer, this photo was actually taken in the opposite corner of the club, closer to the stairs. By the time the club closed the zebra was near the elevator.
Here, outside, you can see the banner is different, the marquee is different and the plane is not decked out in the same scheme.
